Hi, I’m John.

HUMOURIST & SHORT STORY WRITER

In his career as a geologist and financial analyst, John wrote many boring technical reports. To develop his craft, he is currently taking creative writing classes, with a focus on humour, non-fiction prose and poetry. John plans to publish but is too impatient to wait for publishers to reply. This forum allows his work to be shared expeditiously.

Although based in Calgary, on Treaty 7 territory, he and his family have done extensive ocean travel under both sail and power. John loves long motorcycle trips, especially to the North, and spending time in the Rockies. He and his wife of 33 years, Lisa, have two grown children and share their home with two beagles, the adorable sisters, Joey and Finley.
